The big picture
The objective was to publish a 'light' newsletter to share news and strengthen ties within the widely-dispersed family. Launched in 1996, it was my first brush with PageMaker.
The small steps
- Content planning: Family news articles, news snippets, recollections, fun games (like family crossword), and gossip - content was light for feel-good effect.
- Production and distribution: Layout done at home, printout at the local DTP shop; photocopies sent to family members.
